The Miracle of Love

This is a story about a girl called Anne, who in this day and age, found her true love. All my life I was looking for love. In other people, in friends, in jobs, in outer situations, and in worldly pleasures. And was always disappointed. It was the one quality I was always deprived of. When I moved to Australia, my desperate search began. Yet this time the journey was different – it was no longer outwards.
This time the journey led inwards. I started reading esoteric books, one book led to another, and I became fascinated with the concept that we contain the universe
within ourselves – a microcosm of the macrocosmic. I made a pledge to myself that I was going to find the pearl of great price.

I had nothing to lose now. I forgot about the outer world. I stopped going out. Boyfriends ceased to comfort me. Material possessions and physical needs were no longer a priority.
